Identity System
Expressing the Berlin Spirit
visitBerlin, the destination management organization for the German capital, was looking for a new visual identity to express the city's dynamism and international appeal.

The creative process for the new design began as a creative workshop with visiting students and faculty from ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California. The young creatives' first-hand experience of Berlin and their fresh perspective informed the DNA of the new design: welcoming, varied, and in constant motion.

The new visual identity is built around an animated logotype expressing movement and dynamism: visit is a verb.

Scope: Creative concept and design development
