The Dream of Vision
Age of Tele-Visions
Self-initiated major public exhibition at the Gasometer in Oberhausen, Germany, experienced by over 540,000 visitors in 1997-98.
At the dawn of the Internet age, this show explored the past, present, and future of television as a mass medium.
The spectacular backdrop for telling the story of the evolving information age is a remnant of the first industrial revolution, a 7,000-square-meter gas tank with a soaring 110-meter ceiling.

The exhibition featured thousands of historical artifacts, interactive mixed-media exhibits and spatial experiences, and original works by media artists such as Nam June Paik and Dan Graham.
